Thanksgiving, a time for thanks
Although it was not the first thanksgiving on the North American continent, the origin of what is considered to be the modern Thanksgiving holiday in the United States, is credited to the celebration that happened at the Plymouth Plantation in Massachusetts in 1621.
There, the pilgrims gave thanks to God for them surviving that first terrible winter in New England. In the years since, the holiday has lost much of it's religious connection for most, and is now observed as an opportunity to gather and give thanks and appreciate that which we have.
In light of that, I want to recognize what I am thankful for. I am happy to have my friends and family, I am grateful for my health and thankful I live in America.

I am thankful for life itself. Nobody is promised tomorrow. So I thank God everyday for waking me up. I am also thankful for all of my loved family and friends.

Well i thought that was very nice to know how Thanksgiving was invented and how its traditions cam to be. My perspective of Thanksgiving is it should be better spent with family and people you care for and who care for you.
Also i am thankful for my and others well being and for the people who surround me, with their 'love' and support. I am thankful for my life.

I'm thankful 4 having a family to enjoy Thanksgiving with. I'm thankful my grandmother is coming out of the nursing home today. She's the best.

Thanksgiving is cool because you get to have a feast with your family and friends. We get to have fun and we get to go to a movie sometimes and we get scary movies. On Thanksgiving we get a turkey, and macaroni and cheese.

I am thankful for having a family and friends to play with and food to eat. I am thankful for having a house to live in, a bed to sleep in and a shower and soap to bathe with. I am most thankful that my cool grandma and my mom are still living. If it wasn't for my grandma I would not have clothes, food, sneakers or a house because she helped my mom raise me.

I thankful for my family my bother and a mom. I am thankful for somebody taking care of me. I am thankful for a life and a name and people that help me with things i do not know. I am thankful to have a big and wonderful family who loves me and has taken care of me all my life.

First and foremost I am grateful that I am blessed because I'm alive. I praise God for everything that I have. Thanksgiving is a very special day: it gives me the opportunity to reflect on what I have done, achieved, and what God has provided. I am thankful that I have a family: a wife, a mother, brother, sister, son, daughter, and all the significant others. I'm also thankful that I have a job and all the wonderful staff at Lorge School. I am grateful that I am still able to go to school to pursue a master's degree and to have the wonderful professors that I have. Thanks be to the Lord again and forever.

Thanksgiving is a great time of year to reflect on all that we have and all the people that help us in our lives. I am thankful for my friends, my family, my students and all of the other wonderful people in my life who help me each and everyday, even the ones that don't realize what an impact they have on me. I am also thankful that I am able to giveback to others and share what I have learned and experienced.

I am thankful for my family and friends and the air. I am thankful for Mr. J because he is fun and funny and he helps me with my reading. I am thankful for Ms. K because she helps me with my math and is a great teacher. Most of all I am thankful for my Mom and Dad. They love me and I love them.
